Storyline:
Simmba is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language action film directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The film features Ranveer Singh in the titular role of Sangram "Simmba" Bhalerao, a corrupt police officer from Shivgadh who transforms into a righteous and brave cop after a life-changing event.
The film also stars Sara Ali Khan, Sonu Sood, Ashutosh Rana, and Siddharth Jadhav in supporting roles. It is a remake of the 2015 Telugu film Temper.
Simmba was released on December 28, 2018, and received positive reviews from critics and audiences alike. It was a commercial success, grossing over ₹400 crores (US$56 million) worldwide, and became the eighth-highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2018. The film's soundtrack, composed by Tanishk Bagchi, Lijo George - DJ Chetas, and S. Thaman, was also well-received.
